The latest news here at Dale's Refrigeration & Heating is the creation of a QR code to be added to all of our advertisements. People with smart phones that have bar code aps, this is a free download for their phone, can scan our QR code and have instant access to our web site. It is pretty cool, check it out. You should be seeing our OR code on all advertisements, mailings, newsletters, brochures, proposals and more! Want to receive your bills via email, get a copy of a bill for taxes, get our bi-monthly news letter? Go to our 'Contact Us' page and do the fill in form for email and in the 'Comment' section write 'I want email service from Dale's' and your email address will be added to your account information and our bi-monthly newsletter email distribution. Change your mind, no problem, just go to the same section and send us an email saying remove me from email service. It's that easy! Computer Program Updated: Well we finally did it. We have updated our computer software to an better tracking system. We hope you will bear with us as we convert all of our records to Wintac, the program we have chosen. It will be better at tracking service calls, which we hope will give us a quicker return time on calls that we have ordered parts for, BUT until we get to the point of full operation we will be a little behind in our entries and it will take us awhile to get to know the program. With this we have also switched to tracking customers by numbers, so please aid us when you call by giving us as much information as possible to ensure we have the correct mailing address, shipping address, email addresses, phone numbers and people that are allowed to make decision on your account all listed correctly. If, when we are reviewing your customer information with you, you find we have an incorrect entry PLEASE give us your updated information immediately. News About Dale: Unfortunately our optimist out look on Dale's recovery was not realized as Dale lost his battle with cancer on February 1, 2011. We look forward to continuing in the same values that Dale & I started this company with - honest, reliable, quality sales and service. As many of you may know Dale Borreson the owner of Dale's Refrigeration & Heating was diagnosed with Esophagus cancer on May 5, 2010. Dale has never smoked, chewed tobacco or drank excessively, the three main causes of this type of cancer, however the 4th cause is probably the culprit, acid reflux. While Dale never experienced acid reflux he did have stomach acid problems, ate a lot of Tums, in the past. At any rate, this is the 4th cause of esophagus cancer - acid reflux. What happens is the constant acid eroding on the throat causes the esophagus lining to become like the stomach lining which is the catalyst for cancer to develop. There is good news to all of this, Dale will make a full recovery. Thank God! While Dale will have the summer off for treatments and recovery we would like to thank all of you for the kind words, cards, many prayers and well wishes....they help more than you know.
